“This book is extremely clever in two different ways: first, I’ve never seen anything like several of the exercises; but the kids love them, and they seem very well thought out. They’re part of a game, not a chore. Second, by tying exercises to the alphabet, children just starting to learn to read get wonderful reinforcement – both for reading and for physical fitness. But Jacob’s 26 exercises – one for each letter of the alphabet – are fun for kids until Jacob runs out of letters! If Dr. Seuss could find more letters to add to the alphabet, so should author Bulsby Duncan. Jacob has lots of friends on the book cover. We hope that they will join him or have their own books soon.”

“I picked up this book and was excited to see the dynamic illustrations and story that challenges kids to keep moving. It makes exercise fun and focuses on balance, flexibility, strengthening and stretching! It is nice to have a book that teaches exercise in a way that children can understand and makes it exciting at the same time!”

As a mother of three and physical therapist I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this book!!I was thrilled with the exercises, drawings and educational component. My three kids, ages 8,6,and 3 think it is fun to exercise “Jacob’s” way!!! A great book to keep your kids active over the holidays and cooler months. Recommended for parents and exercise enthusiasts.
